Elder Anthony E. Shoffner faithfully serves as the Pastor of Living Word Christian Learning Center, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Living Word serves as a training center for those desiring to cultivate their relationship with Christ, their spiritual gifts and their natural talents. Through discipleship, minds are renewed, hearts are healed and lives are changed at LWCLC. Pastor Shoffner is currently a seminarian seeking to assist the people of God through in-depth studies of theological truths, with the expectation of serving in the Kingdom of God more efficiently.
While attending his home church, Mount Olive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, he was quite active and served as the minister of music for many years. He held the office of Vice President of the Armor Bearers Young People Union. In 1998, he was ordained as a minister of the gospel in the organization of Faith, Hope and Charity Holy Churches of God Incorporated under the presiding prelate, Bishop Willie C. Kendall. As time progressed, Pastor Shoffner also served as the National Minister of Music, Assistant Chief Minister of Protocol and Chief Adjutant of the presiding prelate in Faith, Hope and Charity Holy Churches of God, Inc. In 2005, Elder Shoffner served as the Interim Pastor of Rehoboth Tabernacle Church under the Leadership of the late Bishop Curtis Ray Farrow until 2008. The Lord then strategically placed Elder Shoffner at United True Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor W.M. Scott. He served faithfully, in many capacities. In 2011, Elder Shoffner became a covenant member of Warriors Armed and Ready Fellowship Ministries, under the leadership of the Presiding Prelate, Bishop Nathan J. Anderson.
Learning about the Lord he has always been paramount in Pastor Shoffner’s life. Through his experience in ministry, he has provided useful tools and practical guidance to help real people in the real world. Pastor Shoffner also stands as a teacher whose insight and leadership serve the progressiveness of all people. He believes that God has called us to be the very stewards of all gifts, talents and opportunities entrusted to us in this lifetime. Pastor Shoffner believes that when we work with God, the results bring prosperity and real success regardless of title or status.
God has certainly equipped Pastor Shoffner with an anointing for this time allowing him to flow in the gifts of the spirit. He is truly an asset to the body of Christ. His ministry has carried him near and far. Lives have been changed through the ministry of music and the preaching of the gospel.
He is married to the lovely, Lady LaToya Shoffner and they are the proud parents of Haleigh Sinclair Shoffner.
